semi-western. the 2nd most is western.

i would suggest go with semi, although im using a western…. of course ive grown into it and cant seem to switch.

go with what suits you best. however, if using the western, try to switch to semi if you can.

western grip has great acess to spin, however it then becomes hard to hit flat. semi-western is the best for this problem so go with semi-western.

You should play with the grip that you most feel comfortable with. If you copy someone else you will mess up your game.

    semi-western.

you can play with the one that is most comfortable for you. but you have to remember what surface you are playing with, the bounce of the ball and what tactics you are using. if you are trying to play a low ball or serve and volley, then use eastern grip to put the ball really deep in the court and go for volley. which could be used in grass court. because in grass court the ball doesnt bounce high. sampras uses eastern grip.

you can use semi western, in hard courts. because the bounce of the ball is stomach to shoulder width, and semi western is good for it. you hit to rally, or you can also hit it deep to go for volley

western grip, is mainly for the clay court. because on clay you have to play really high balls and put a lot of spin. why do you think nadal wins on clay? because he plays with western grip.

good to learn all the grips. why do you think roger federer is so good in all the surfaces? because he can play with all the different grips. you have to practice a lot to get used to them.
